Bryce @ AKIDS

Bryce graduated from International Medical University (Malaysia) with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology degree in 2022, and with a Master of Clinical Psychology from UCSI University (Malaysia) in 2025.

Bryce works with adults and teenagers and has experience supporting individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, trauma, grief, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD). He also works with clients who experience interpersonal challenges, including avoidant and anxious attachment style.

In his clinical work, Bryce commonly supports clients who are navigating questions around identity, life purpose, and meaning. He has a strong interest in helping individuals develop a rich and meaningful inner life, and often explores existential themes, values, and belief systems as part of the therapeutic process.

Bryce adopts a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapy. He encourages clients to ask difficult and honest questions, and believes deeply in the role of authenticity in meaningful change. He aims to provide a steady and supportive space where clients can reflect on their inner experiences, make sense of emotional conflicts, and move towards ways of living that feel intentional, genuine, and self-directed. Bryce believes that change often begins with small but significant steps, including shifts in perspective and mindset.

He has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Jungian analytical psychology, and is keen to further develop his understanding and skills in these areas. Bryce is comfortable working with individuals from diverse racial, religious, and cultural backgrounds.

Bryce primarily draws from both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and tailors his approach to suit each client’s style, needs and goals.

Outside of his clinical work, Bryce enjoys reading, spending time in nature, hiking, running, and engaging in thoughtful conversations about the world and human experience. He values personal growth, challenge, and self-compassion, both in therapy and in daily life.

Bryce provides therapy in English, Mandarin (intermediate), and basic Malay.
