In this workshop Paul will ensure that participants walk away with a core set of skills in family therapy assessment and intervention, enabling them to get started working with families in their practice. Social skills groups offer an opportunity for children who lack social skills to practice these social skills with peers. Through evidence-based methods, your child will learn to engage, regulate and respond to social interactions with each other.

Our Speech and Language Therapist, Elysia, will identify individualised objectives for each child participating, develop specialised strategies to target specific communication, emotional regulation, engagement, and social interactions behaviour during group activities. The child’s progress is rated on each objective every session.
