Self-Care at Work
Self-care used to be conceived as a weekend affair--like cooking a healthy Sunday breakfast after meditation or a jog in the park--and it didn’t seem as if it could be compatible with work. In fact, it was deemed to be the counterweight to it. However, self-care is now backed by research to be one of the important factors for overall health and well-being. Besides helping to cope with stress, self-care has also emerged to be a predictor of work productivity.
Annabelle Psychology offers various programmes aimed at promoting self-care at work. We believe that being productive at work shouldn’t come at the expense of your health and wellbeing. Besides taking better care of yourself at the workplace, you can also learn to foster strong bonds with your co-workers and design your day to improve your focus and performance.
